Clonal structure of P. acuta populations (n = 9) around Phuket Island, Thailand. As a function of genotypic evenness (Go/NMLG) and genotypic diversity (G), populations are considered to be dominated by sexual reproduction with varying degrees of asexual reproduction. Regression analysis components are shown in the plot. Several populations are overlapping as they share the same combination of genotypic evenness and genotypic diversity (KNA, KNO, PN, PS; G = 1.00 and Go/NMLG = 1.00). Color shades relate to region: green colors refer to southern sites (PW and TK), blue colors relate to western populations (KA, PN and PS) and red coloring indicates eastern populations (KNA, KNO, KR and LP).
