The colours indicate when the standard deviation of the bin falls in different interval compare to the average standard deviation, between 0 and 1 in blue (low variation), between 1 to 2 in green (moderate variation) and over two in red (highly variable). Inverted repeats A and B (IRA and IRB), large single copy (LSC) and small single copy (SSC) are shown in the inner circle by different line weights. Genes shown outside the outer circle are transcribed clockwise, and those inside are transcribed counter clockwise. Genes belonging to different functional groups are color-coded. Radial grey highlights show the regions in focus of study, light grey previously used barcodes, in dark grey newly developed barcodes
